Shreshtha joined Lister Beaupré Lawyers as an associate in 2023, practicing in the area of family law.
An internationally trained lawyer and only lawyer in the family bloodline, Shreshtha completed her accreditation in Canada and developed her passion for family law while working with a notable Family Law firm in Ottawa, Ontario before joining Lister Beaupré.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree, Shreshtha achieved her law degree at one of India’s prestigious law schools. She obtained her LL.B. degree and was called to the Bar in India in 2018. After immigrating to Canada, she obtained her Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2021 and her license to practice law in Ontario, Canada in 2023.
She is qualified to practice in both India and the province of Ontario, Canada. She has dealt with cross-border matters including matrimonial issues, international law, and litigation among others.
Her approach to solving family law matters is that she understands the challenges of modern-day parenting and the financial stress that separation can bring. She endeavors to devise solutions with her clients and not for them.
A community service enthusiast, Shreshtha volunteered with the Moot Court Society as the Lead Chair. She has also raised awareness in isolated parts of India through her law school’s Community Legal Clinic.
Shreshtha is an explorer, who loves to travel and learn about new cultures and traditions. When not in office, Shreshtha enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.
